The funds advised by EMERAM invest in the consumer, technology/software and service sectors. Their total volume currently stands at EUR 400 million. In general, the funds acquire a significant stake in the company and give the respective management team an opportunity to invest, too.

Markus Gyssler
Partner, COO/CFO
Markus has broad experience in global technology-driven industries in various financial and operational roles. After seven years with the KirchGroup as COO and member of the board at BetaResearch, he was appointed as Managing Director and CFO/COO at Actano Group, a global leader in project and process consulting and software. At Actano he oversaw finance and operations for the Group's national and international subsidiaries. Furthermore, he successfully created a business unit specializing in process optimization for international automotive and industrial goods manufacturers, which was later profitably sold to an international consulting firm. For several years, he had been advising startups, mid-sized and public companies on financial management, business planning and business operations.
Markus holds a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University Munich and an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley.
