Funds advised by EMERAM invest in the Austrian customer loyalty platform hello again

Munich, Linz, 29 September 2026 – Funds advised by EMERAM are investing in the Austrian customer loyalty platform hello again in order to work alongside the founders and the existing management team to strengthen hello again’s market position in the DACH region and drive its expansion into further European markets. The founders and initial investors will retain a stake in the company following the transaction and will play an active role in shaping the next phase of growth alongside the new partner.

hello again, founded in 2017 and headquartered in Leonding near Linz (Austria), develops software for digital customer loyalty programmes and is aimed primarily at businesses seeking regular contact with their customers. The white-label SaaS platform enables customers from all sectors – including retail, the hospitality industry, bakeries, as well as pharmacies and leisure facilities – to set up their own, bespoke loyalty programmes and personalised marketing initiatives. Since its foundation nine years ago, hello again has grown from a start-up into one of the leading providers of digital customer loyalty in the German-speaking world. More than 1,000 businesses – ranging from regional companies to internationally renowned brands – now rely on hello again’s app solution. Its clients include companies such as Deichmann, Müller and L’Osteria. In total, around 18 million app users are already using hello again.

Growth partnership facilitates internationalisation

EMERAM’s investment in hello again is based on a clear strategic alignment. The shared objective of EMERAM and hello again is to significantly strengthen their market position in the DACH region, drive forward European expansion and expand their business areas in a targeted manner. The market is driven in particular by rising customer acquisition costs and the growing importance of first-party data. EMERAM therefore believes that this market offers considerable growth potential.

Matthias Obermeyr, a partner at EMERAM, comments: “With hello again, we are investing in a strong team, scalable technology and a clear European growth vision. We want to support the company in expanding its market position in the DACH region, in its internationalisation and in the development of AI-powered solutions, such as an AI-based campaign autopilot, as well as in establishing an integrated benefits programme for partners.” With its AI autopilot for one-to-one messaging, hello again aims to redefine how customers are addressed: the AI automatically generates the right message based on individual customer interests and selects the perfect time to send it to each app user. This is designed to maximise relevance and demonstrably increase revenue by an average of eight per cent."

Franz Tretter, founder and CEO of hello again, says: “In EMERAM, we have found the perfect partner for us. We share both a focus on the DACH region and on small and medium-sized enterprises, and we share a common vision for the future of hello again. The cultural fit, the personal chemistry and the combination of support and constructive expectations were particularly decisive factors for us. EMERAM is the ideal partner to help build hello again into a leading player in the field of digital customer loyalty.”

Through its investment in hello again, EMERAM is continuing its strategy of actively supporting medium-sized companies in their development as a growth partner. In addition to its extensive strategic and operational expertise, EMERAM also brings in-depth industry knowledge and a comprehensive network to the table.

The funds advised by EMERAM target companies operating in the fields of digitalisation, health & wellbeing and energy transition that are pioneers in their respective sectors. EMERAM’s most recent investments include, amongst others, Solar Manager AG, a provider of home energy management systems, and Hochfrequenz Unternehmensberatung, which offers strategic consultancy and digital solutions for energy suppliers. In addition, the EMERAM portfolio company sofatutor has acquired the French learning platform SchoolMouv as part of an add-on transaction.
