The funds advised by EMERAM invest in the Digital Transformation, Health and Well-Being and Energy Transition sectors. Their total volume currently stands at EUR 800 million. In general, the funds acquire a significant stake in the company and give the respective management team an opportunity to invest, too.

David Studer
Senior Advisor
David co-founded Xovis AG in 2008 and, as a CEO, navigated the company from its early days as a dynamic start-up to a global market leader in sensor solutions for people flow in airports, retail and transportation. During his entrepreneurial journey, he executed product development, company building, strategy, organisation and leadership, hardware production ramp-up, regulatory affairs, internationalisation, growth management, sales and business development.
Having executed two private equity transactions with Xovis, David left the company in 2019 to start a second career as a startup investor. Since then, he has invested in over 30 technology start-ups in Switzerland, supporting them as a coach, sparring partner and board member on their growth journey. In 2023, David was named “SECA Business Angel of the Year” by the Swiss Private Equity and Corporate Finance Association SECA. He holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from ETH Zurich, Switzerland.
